Oppo announced its SubBrand Reno at Weibo
- Oppo’s new sub-brand ‘Reno’ has been revealed in China
- The sub-brands logo suggest that phones will be youth–centeic
- First phone is expected to be launched on 10 April
This early Monday, Oppo launched it’s new sub-brand ‘Reno’. The first smartphone under this sub-brand is expected to be launched on 10 April 2019. Shen Yiren, VP at Oppo announced that the first phone in Reno’s catalogue will be launched soon.
Other than the vibrant logo and date of first launch, nothing more than that is revealed by the brand. There is no information about phone’s features or price range. Although it is expected to be successor of Oppo Find X, as earlier Oppo revealed that company is going to release a new smartphone in April which will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 855, 4065mAH battery and 10x optical zoom camera. It could be possible that the first phone under sub-brand, Reno, will also be a flagship.
Oppo last year, introduced it’s sub-brand ‘Realme’ in India. Later the company decided to become an independent entity and is now headed by Sky Li, Former Senior Executive and head of Oppo India. Oppo will be looking forward to similar strategy in China with ‘Reno’. The logo is looking colorful suggesting the phone to be targeted towards the youth.
