With the increase in the users of gaming, new and more immersive than ever games are being launched and this urges the smartphone manufacturers to create smartphones like Nubia Red Magic 3 that cater to the needs of these gaming-maniacs. We have seen so many manufacturers coming up with new, stylish and powerful gaming central smartphones like the new Nubia Red Magic 3 in the recent times that pack a lot of power and battery back up so that a huge amount of gaming time can be possible for the users. Be it Razer Phone, Asus ROG, Xiaomi Black Shark or the Nubia Red Magic series.
The Nubia series has been, like most of the other users mentioned above, value for money i.e. giving the best possible specs without compromising on the bucks you pay.

It all started with the Nubia Red Magic which comprised of 24MP primary camera with isocell image sensor, 6 disc drive motor lens, F1.7 aperture, NeoVision 7.0 and back image sensor, 3-piece lens, F2.0 aperture, 76.9 degree wide angle and 8MP front facing camera, a 15.21 centimeters (5.99-inch) LTPS TFT capacitive touchscreen with 1080 x 2160 pixels resolution, Android v8.1 Oreo operating system with 2.45GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 MSM8998 octa core processor, 8GB RAM, 128GB internal memory and dual SIM (nano+nano) dual-standby (4G+4G). The beast also packed a 3800mAH lithium-polymer battery providing talk-time of 28.5 hours and standby time of 342 hours. Despite all this, the smartphone didn’t become hugely popular.

Then came the Nubia Red Magic 2 which featured a 6.2″ (15.75 cm) display with a screen resolution of 1080 x 2160 pixels and had Android v9.0 (Pie) as the operating system. The device was powered by the next generation SD 845 Octa core (2.8 GHz, Quad core, Kryo 385 + 1.8 GHz, Quad core, Kryo 385) processor paired with 10 GB of RAM. As far as the battery goes, concerned it had 4000 mAh. Over that, as far as the rear camera is concerned this mobile had a 24 MP + 2 MP camera . The smartphone didn’t go out of stocks either and the company had to play the next move.

Nubia Red Magic Mars

Next came the Nubia Red Magic Mars which was launched in November 2018. The phone came with a 6.00-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1080×2160 pixels and an aspect ratio of 18:9.Nubia Red Magic Mars was powered by a 2.8GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor. It came with 6GB of RAM.The Nubia Red Magic Mars ran Android 9 Pie and was powered by a 3,800mAh battery. The Nubia Red Magic Mars supported proprietary fast charging.As far as the cameras are concerned, the Nubia Red Magic Mars on the rear packed a 16-megapixel camera with an f/1.8 aperture. It sported a 8-megapixel camera on the front for selfies, with an f/2.0 aperture.The Nubia Red Magic Mars ran Red Magic OS 1.6 based on Android 9 Pie and packed 64GB of inbuilt storage. The Nubia Red Magic Mars was a single SIM (GSM) smartphone that accepted a Nano-SIM card.Connectivity options on the Nubia Red Magic Mars included Wi-Fi, GPS, 3G, and 4G. Sensors on the phone included accelerometer, ambient light sensor, barometer, gyroscope, proximity sensor, temperature sensor, and compass/ magnetometer.The Nubia Red Magic Mars measured 158.25 x 75.00 x 9.85mm (height x width x thickness) and weighed 193.00 grams. It was launched in Black, Camouflage, and and Flame Red colours.

Nubia Red MAGIC 3

Ni Fei, the GM at Nubia, has been teasing the Nubia Red Magic 3, including specifications that include Snapdragon 855, 12GB RAM, high refresh rate screen and so on. The continued teasers have suggested that the smartphone is gonna have a whole lot bigger battery than the 3800 mAh mark. The battery could go as high as 5000 mAh. There has however not been any official word on the charging speeds. The current model(Nubia Red Magic Mars) packs an 18W fast charger, so here it could be pretty much the same

Rumors and Leaks about Nubia Red Magic 3

The smartphone could feature built-in active air cooling, unlike the previous models that had a vapor chamber that directed heat to vents which relied on passive convection. The new smartphone could feature a heat fan inside the smartphone as seen in the patent filing image shared by Ni Fei. The fan could improve the cooling by 73% and could pave the way for the most intensive games that are present.
